Lazy Day French Toast

French toast always tastes better when someone else cooks it, but I’ve also found it tastes just as good when you don’t have to fuss over it too much in the morning and take a “cheat” at it, if you will. Hence, Lazy Day French Toast to start the day off without too much measuring and more time for coffee!

Directions:

Whisk together eggs and creamer in a large bowl.  In a pan, melt half of the butter. Dip sliced bread into the egg mixture and cook on medium heat until eggs are set. Top French toast with any combination of butter, powdered sugar and maple agave nectar.

Tips:

I cut my sliced bread into smaller strips to make it easier to arrange and cook in the pan. It also makes it easy to pick up and dip into maple syrup, if that’s your thing. (It’s totally my thing!) You could also top with cinnamon sugar for an indulgent variation.
